The historic north end condo, perched over Boston Harbor, was completely reworked into open concept living, updating and optimizing the functionality of every nook and cranny.
The primary objective was to incorporate the building’s location into every aspect of the design, emphasizing the two-sided water views. Providing uninterrupted water views led to one of the more ingenious—and essential—features in the home, converting the original kitchen into a first-floor guest room enclosed in glass walls.
The finished first-floor space creates a central living area, kitchen, and guest room. On the second floor, a shift of the original L-shaped staircase now leads to a brand new master suite with sweeping water views.
