This Boston apartment needed a serious upgrade to accommodate empty nesters.
This project involved the renovation of a guest bedroom, which doubled as a home office, along with a significant renovation of the master bathroom, replacing all the fixtures, flooring, and tile without changing the space’s footprint.
The project required major restructuring, which often happens in a condo situation. The customization to fit within restrictions included the nook for the artwork in the bathroom, the tub deck that created the bench in the shower, and the backsplash, tile, and mirror alignment. Additionally, the vanity, mirror, and apron front tub are all custom-made for the space. The herringbone floor tile, along with the shower tile is all from Ann Sacks.
In the second bedroom, we installed a custom built-in unit with a Murphy bed – a creative solution, meeting the need for both an office and guest bedroom.
Additionally, we replaced all the flooring in the unit to further brighten and modernize the space.
