Offering sustainable architecture and design services for brand new construction or renovation projects, both large and small; their work is widely recognized for their attention to detail, and an innovative approach that emphasizes needs, context and technology.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with LDa on several of our projects. One that particularly comes to mind is a South End Condominium. This required a serious upgrade to a modest footprint to accommodate our “empty nester” clients.
The project involved transforming a guest bedroom into a multi-functional space- a guest room and office – with a new custom Murphy bed and storage wall. Additionally, a significant renovation of the master bathroom was completed, replacing all the fixtures, flooring, and tile without changing the space’s footprint.
The project required significant restructuring, which often happens in a condo situation. The customization to accommodate restrictions included the nook for the artwork in the bathroom, the tub deck that created the bench in the shower, and the backsplash, tile, and mirror alignment. Additionally, the vanity, mirror, and apron front tub are all custom-made for the space.
A fresh coat of paint provided a crisp background for the client’s significant art collection, carefully hung to complement LDa’s beautiful design choices of mixing metals and textures, with the use of a minimal color scheme.
